LACMA's sarcophagus is back! Check out the Egyptian Collection's new digs for art over 2000 years old. Look for the mother and son gods Isis and Horus or the cat goddess Bastet. After exploring, make your own Egypt-inspired art in workshops.

Singers Anonymous

Santa Monica Mountains Science Festival

Experience two days of family science fun. Hands-on activities. Watch bats fly at night and discover which bugs come out after dark. Stop by the story telling corner and hear tales from long ago. Learn how to track mountain lions and bobcats. And identify wildflowers.  Bring a picnic lunch and stay for the afternoon. Sponsored by the National Park Service and the LA Natural History Museum.

Sakai Flamenco

Comprised of dancers, a singer and guitarist, Sakai Flamenco uses traditional clapping and strong, rhythmic footwork to showcase the beauty, power and intricacy of flamenco.
