Ventura County Fair

Concerts, nightly fireworks, parade, rides, livestock and agricultural exhibits.

Adults: $12, Children (ages 6-12): $9, Children (5 and under): Free

On-site parking: $10. There are also free parking lots and free parking shuttles to the fair available from 10:30 am-11 pm.

Family Amphitheater Performances

Various musical and theatrical groups perform twice each weekend day for families outdoors.

Andell Family Sunday

The theme this month is Three Faces of a Vase. This is a terrific opportunity for families to visit the new exhibition The Stowe Vase: From Ancient Art To Additive Manufacturing, and notice how the vase looks different on paper or recreated in silver,. Then families can make their own vases through printmaking or clay.

Come on Saturday to see the sand sculptures being created. Activities on Sunday include viewing the finished works of art, a kids zone, live music and arts and crafts.

Join an inter-generational movement workshop designed for people of all ages, bringing together both open play and directed experience. Sadubas, a DJ duo, will provide the soundtrack, and the "Family Dance Jam" team of dancers will be there to help create an environment of fun and creativity.

Family Jam: Aztec Stories

It's a day to celebrate the varied cultural traditions across Mexico through song and performance. Explore Intersections to find works of art from all over Mexico and admire the rainbow yarn paintings in The Spun Universe. Afterward, create a work of art with yarn.

Look Together: Junior Designers

Workshop designed for ages 8 and older. Register at either 10:30 or 11:30 am for the workshop time of your choice. You will work together to create a banner representing you and your family, letting art inspire your choice of symbols, patterns, and composition.
