LA Zoo Lights

This is a magical holiday light event with high impact displays that are designed to celebrate the season. Stroll through the zoo to see glowing light animals and real reindeer and purchase holiday treats. Enjoy a water fountain show, laser lights, and photos with Santa (select times).

Winter Sawdust Festival

Visit booths to view and purchase handmade crafts, jewelry and art. For kids, there are art projects, a real snow play field, live holiday entertainment, daily visits with Santa.

Hot Wheels Garage

Race cars on hot wheels tracks, see life size hot wheels, take a picture with Santa and donate an unwrapped toy. There will also be sundaes for purchase.

Santa and the Jolly Trolley

Take a special trolley ride with Mrs. Claus with holiday music and fun. The ride ends at ts he Paley Center for Media and the celebration continues with a holiday movie screening and photo with Santa.

Star Party

Get a close up look at the moon, stars and visible planets, try out a variety of telescopes and talk to astronomers.

Ranger Game Day

Play strategic, fun-filled games with Rangers or with your family and friends. Games will range from board games, card games, and cultural games that were played by the Chumash and Tongva. Games will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own.

Stories in the Afternoon: Frederick

This event combines the magic of a picture book about a mouse who cheers up his friends with a family art project. Discover how Frederick cheers up his friends when the bitter cold winter arrives. Then, look at a wintry scene by Alfred Sisley and create an artwork using foam stickers, color sticks and pencils.

Snow Days

The museum transforms into a winter playground. Make snowmen and learn how snow is formed. There will be live performances each day, winter-themed art, and a workshop explaining the science of snow.
