Kite Party

Try your hand at flying in areas outside of the main flying field, which is reserved for experienced, registered kite party participants. Visitors can also enjoy professional demonstrations performed at random times throughout the day as well as sport kite lessons.

Hermosa Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade

Enjoy the small town feel of this fun event. The parade includes school marching bands, bagpipers, floats, vintage autos, step dancers and Irish setters.

Weekend Tidepool Walk

The first part of the day will be an informative slide show to help visitors to become more familiar with the local marine life. Then next part is a naturalist-led walk among the Point Fermin tidepools to see animals in their natural habitat. Outdoor clothing and sneakers are recommended.
