Join Alice as she follows the White Rabbit into a Wonderland of talking animals, comic royalty, and a croquet game played with flamingos. This theater company has been entertaining and educating children since 1929.

Family Festival

As the Getty Center turns 20, join the  celebration with an unforgettable birthday bash. Enjoy live performances and a photo booth. Make a wearable accessory inspired by the museum's iconic tram, do some hip hop with Versa-Style or hula with Keali'i O'Nalani, and then play some birthday games.

Kite Party

Try your hand at flying in areas outside of the main flying field, which is reserved for experienced, registered kite party participants. Visitors can also enjoy professional demonstrations performed at random times throughout the day as well as sport kite lessons.

Salt Marsh Open House

Join staff of the aquarium to earn about the Salinas de San Pedro wetlands habitat at Cabrillo Beach by using binoculars and microscopes to observe live animals. Visitors can view the birds of the marsh, learn about native plants and observe the changes in the tides.

Peacock Day

Stories in the Afternoon: Triangle

A great way to create art with your whole family! First, listen to a reading of this story that explores what happens when Triangle plays a sneaky trick on Square. Does Square get revenge? Then, draw a world of shapes in front of Josef Albers’s Homage to the Square/Red Series, Untitled II.

Family Tour with Tree People

Fun activities on the tour include: visiting the Dirt Doctor’s laboratory to learn about the magic of mulch, watching a live demonstration of how rainwater flows in our city and planting a native tree seed to take home.
