From Halloween in October to Christmas in December the Holidays at Disneyland and California Adventure are alive and well. Spend the holiday season at the parks and see them transformed with beautiful decorations. Here are some of the highlights of the Holidays:
Is your child a fan of the Tinkerbell movies? Visit Pixie Hollow at Disneyland to meet the fairies and take your picture with them. The characters look like they stepped out of the movies, and Disneyland rotates which fairies will be there so be sure to check out this area each time you come. It's a memory in the making!
Has it been a while since you went on It's a Small World? This old favorite and family tradition has an all new look with many recognizable characters from Disney films sprinkled throughout the ride, including Aladdin and Ariel. The song is just as enchanting as it was years ago and there is so much to see--even a new America section that includes the Hollywood Bowl.
Another attraction from the past that has come back with a new look is Sleeping Beauty's Castle. After being closed for several years, Disney reopened this attraction in 2008. Your children will marvel at the diorama-type scenes from this popular story enjoy walking through the narrow passageways and staircases of this iconic structure. Don't forget to point out Maleficent!
